    Abstract:

Objective To compare the biomechanical properties of traditional LCP and new LCP in the treatment of femoral shaft fracture. Methods The bending strength and fatigue of the plate were tested by experiments, and then the deformation, stress and life of the plate were analyzed with the three-dimensional finite element analysis software Ansys Workbench. Result The experimental results show that the bending yield load and bending strength of the new LCP are 1.4 times of that of the traditional LCP, and the average cycle times are 1000000 and 47091. The difference of service life is 33.8% through the finite element analysis. Conclusion The failure probability of new LCP is less than that of traditional LCP, the new LCP has more effective biomechanical stability.
